Our story began more than fifty years ago, with a simple commitment to keeping industry running efficiently.

In 1972, Ernest and Janice Howarth opened a small business selling heating elements and "Magnet" wire. Their son, Brian Howarth, joined a few years later, and together the family set the benchmark for the successful, family-owned operations that defined Durban at the time.

Today, Brian Howarth serves as Chairman, with his daughter, Nicole, a Director on the executive committee. Here are a few of our milestones:
